The Game

The place of “The Game” was the corner of our small tile porch entry at the home we raised our two children. After they had gone off to college and we had come back from our first visit to White Springs, Florida. We purchased these two little concrete pets with their board game at an antique shop in the middle of the town. They were playing their their game outside among antiques that had become a part of the shops outside setting. So as an artist, they became models for many of my watercolor paintings were I would arrange them and paint. They knew the script and could stand the pose.
