“Flower Field” is one of a series of collage paintings that I have created from the inspiration of many dried paper palettes. The palette paper I first purchased so I could just throw away and make cleanup easier, I soon found I could not part with as the colors and patterns were creations themselves! So I began to use them with other collage elements that lead to a series of paintings. Palette Bouquet, Grand Design, Spunk, A Following, Rose Splash, Flower Field, Roses of Love and Flower Field are part of this series.
